Privacy policy

Last updated: 20 September 2026

This policy explains what personal data Novamada ("we", "us") collects when you use our website at novamada.com and any app or game we publish (together, the "Services"), why we collect it, and the choices you have. We have tried to write it in plain language. If anything is unclear, email info@novamada.com.

1. Who we are

Novamada is a software company. We build business systems for clients and publish our own mobile apps and games on Google Play. For the purposes of data protection law, Novamada is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Contact: info@novamada.com.

2. Data we collect on the website

Our website is a static site. It does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies.

  • Server logs: when you load a page, our hosting provider (Vercel) records standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running, and are retained for a short period by the provider.
  • Fonts: pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends a request (including your IP address) to Google when a page opens. Google's privacy policy applies to that request.
  • Contact form: the form on our contact page opens your own email application. Nothing you type is sent to or stored by our website. When you email us, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up.

3. Data we collect in our apps and games

What we collect depends on the app. Not every app collects every item below; the Google Play listing for each app contains a "Data safety" section that is specific to it.

  • Device and technical data: device model, operating system version, language, screen size, app version and crash logs. Used to keep the app working and fix bugs.
  • Identifiers: an app-generated installation ID, and on Android the Advertising ID if the app shows ads. Used for analytics, to remember your settings, and to show ads that comply with your device's ad settings.
  • Usage data: which screens or levels you use, how long sessions last, and in-app events such as completing a level. Used to understand what works and improve the app.
  • Account data (only in apps with accounts): the name, email address and avatar you provide, or the profile you sign in with through Google Play Games. Used to save your progress across devices and let you sign back in.
  • Purchase data: if you buy something in an app, Google Play processes the payment. We receive a confirmation of the purchase (item and order reference) but never your card details.
  • Support data: what you send us when you ask for help.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera data unless an app clearly asks for permission for a specific feature, and we do not sell personal data.

4. Third-party services

Our apps may include the following services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

  • Google Play Services and Google Play Games Services (sign-in, achievements, cloud save)
  • Google Firebase: Analytics and Crashlytics (usage statistics, crash reporting)
  • Google AdMob (advertising, in apps that show ads)
  • Google Play Billing (in-app purchases)

These providers may collect data directly from your device as described in their own policies. Where an app uses a service not listed here, its Play Store listing will say so.

5. Why we use the data (legal bases)

  • To provide the Services you asked for, including saving progress and processing purchases (performance of a contract).
  • To fix crashes, prevent abuse and keep the Services secure (our legitimate interests).
  • To understand usage and improve the Services (our legitimate interests, or your consent where the law requires it, for example for advertising identifiers).
  • To comply with legal obligations, such as keeping records of transactions.

6. Advertising

Some of our free games show ads through Google AdMob. Ads may be personalised based on your Advertising ID unless you opt out. You can reset or disable personalised advertising in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads). Where required by law, the app will ask for your consent before personalised ads are shown.

7. Children

Our Services are not directed at children under 13 (or the higher age set by local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. Apps that are designed for a general audience treat all users the same way. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it. Where an app is enrolled in a family or children's programme on Google Play, it follows the stricter rules of that programme, including no personalised advertising.

8. How long we keep data

  • Account and progress data: until you delete your account or ask us to delete it, or after a long period of inactivity.
  • Analytics and crash data: kept in aggregated form; identifiable records are removed or anonymised by the provider on its own schedule (Firebase Analytics defaults to 2 months for user-level data).
  • Purchase records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
  • Support email: as long as needed to resolve the matter and for a reasonable period afterwards.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email support@novamada.com. You can also delete your account and data using the steps on our Account and data deletion page. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and reputable hosting providers. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where the law requires it.

11. International transfers

Our hosting and the third-party services above may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, these transfers rely on the providers' standard contractual protections.

12. Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your data, the affected apps will tell you in the app.
